Essential Job Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Develop profitable fixed operations through agreed upon volume and productivity
Work with department managers to improve profitability and efficiency with a focus on meeting departmental expense ratios, balance of internal/external/warranty work, and personal productivity
Monitor technician and shop productivity to reduce inefficiencies and lost time
Monitor and develop inventory control plans to increase turns and decrease obsolescence
Assist in the development of the yearly budget, and track departmental performance against the budget
Develop and manage a high performing staff, both in terms of performance and moral
Live the company's core values and hold all employees accountable to those values
Direct the hiring and training of departmental personnel
Ensure training guidelines are met and individual/team developmental goals are accomplished
Achieve and sustain a high level of customer satisfaction, hospitality, and loyalty
Ensure a positive relationship with customers continues through friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff
Develop customer referrals and repeat business through friendly and efficient service and by resolving customer issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
License & Certifications:
Valid Driver’s License and good driving record are required
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an automotive service department
Abilities:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Ability to lead a team following the campers Inn vision and culture
Excellent communication and managerial skills
Ability to operate the department profitably within dealership guidelines
Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that affect the daily operations of the organization
Proficiency in MS office
Knowledge or ability to learn company system applications, such as Systems 2K and other applicable software
Ability to be able to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Ability to continuously engage in visual activities, such as use of computer, files, and reports
