Interviews Required via phone/TEAMSRole and Scope of Position The Cost Analyst supports the development of transmission capital projects by providing accurate early?phase cost estimates and financial forecasting. The role contributes to the Shovel-Ready Initiative by ensuring reliable cost profiles for transmission asset?condition projects advancing toward construction readiness.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and refine early?phase forecasts for transmission projects
- Forecast development?stage spending and capital?plan impacts
- Manage and coordination work order status throughout the lifecycle of the shelf-project development.
- Evaluate cost risks related to design development, permitting, and long?lead materials
- Support financial models and cost histories that improve capital?planning accuracy
Experience and Education: 2 to 5 years of experience.
