Perform other duties as assigned. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. What You Will Do:
- Inspect, sort and bale all waste cardboard and plastic
- Maintain balers and compactor clear of trash that can build up and create a malfunction
- Maintain the dock area (area surrounding baler)
- General Housekeeping duties
- Basic maintenance and changing of the MHE Batteries
- Daily operation and general maintenance/cleaning of the Sweeper
- Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality

Who You Are:
- Candidates with a High School diploma or equivalent are encouraged to apply
- Ability to read, write and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with colleagues
- Must be able to: Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Sense of urgency and the ability to work independently
- Attention to detail and effective organization skills
- Works harmoniously and effectively with others as part of a team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs
- Essential Physical Requirements You Will Perform
- Regular walking, standing, hearing, and talking
- May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching
- Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
