Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in environmental law for its Seattle, WA office. The role involves handling a variety of environmental matters, including cleanups, redevelopment projects, and litigation under state and federal environmental laws.
Duties:
Manage upland and aquatic cleanup projects.
Oversee redevelopment and construction projects.
Handle purchase and sale transactions of contaminated properties.
Litigate Clean Water Act and natural resource damage claims.
Address complex cost allocation matters.
Requirements:
Two to six years of experience in environmental practice.
Licensed to practice law in Washington.
Experience with MTCA and CERCLA preferred.
Interest in environmental insurance claims and cost recovery litigation.
Strong client service, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in Washington State.
