They make sure their machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with the required materials, well-maintained and perform periodic checks on output.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Set up and operate a Hydraulic Press/Punch for routine established work •Operate heavy machinery such as Forklifts •Preventative maintenance (operator level) as needed •Report and document basic material, production and quality control issues •Utilize time management skills resulting in production •Resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek guidance Knowledge and Skill Requirements:•1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment •Must have experience in metal press forming and basic fabrication •Experience setting up a Hydraulic Press/Punch •Ability to read and understand blueprints •Understands OD/ID •Ability to work with various types of metal forming constraints with guidance •Experience with Forklift and Overhead Crane
