Light Industrial - Worker - Maintenance (Mid Level)

Description: Maintenance Technician II, 1st Shift, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Mon-Fri Payrate: $26.00 The maintenance technician responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of the plant and providing routine maintenance as required to ensure a safe and organized environment. Key responsibilities/ essential functions include performing daily inspections of ceiling tiles and plant lighting; performing monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, eye wash stations and emergency lighting; performing preventative maintenance (PM) on designated machines and equipment; purchasing safety and manufacturing supplies as requested; cleaning equipment, walls and flooring to meet manufacturing standards; performing simple building repairs including wall patching and painting; coordinating work done by outside vendors; performing quality assurance checks; adhering to quality policy in accordance with ISO requirements. Other duties as assigned.
