Tax Manager

Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws Conduct tax research and analysis to provide strategic planning and consulting services Oversee tax audits and resolve any tax-related issues Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing quality service and advice Train and mentor junior staff on tax-related matters and processes Utilize Pro System fx Tax and Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax for efficient tax preparation and management Prepare and review tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements Stay current on tax law changes and their impact on clients

Qualifications: CPA certification is required Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or a similar role Strong knowledge of tax compliance, tax planning, and tax consulting Experience with Pro System fx Tax and Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax software Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax analysis tools Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and client relations skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
