Maintenance Technician

Overview: Position Type Full Time Category Installation - Maint - Repair Description$1,500 sign-on bonus offered!1st Lake Properties is seeking a skilled and dependable AC Technician to join our maintenance team at our Willow Creek apartment community in River Ridge. We're a locally owned and operated apartment management company dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for our residents — and we know that starts with a strong, professional maintenance team.

About the Role: As an AC Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning and heating systems. You'll ensure all HVAC equipment operates safely and efficiently, helping to keep our residents comfortable year-round. You will also perform electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs; as well as prepare apartments for new resident move ins.

Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including compressors, coils, and thermostats Perform preventive maintenance Troubleshoot and resolve heating and cooling issues quickly and professionally Assist with general maintenance duties as needed, including electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs Respond to service requests and emergency calls in a timely manner Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Qualifications: EPA certification to work with refrigerant required; We can assist with testing and certification. Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience preferred Strong diagnostic and repair skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Maintenance tools required; $500 tool allowance. Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation
