Internship Opportunity A career at Auto-Owners is challenging and rewarding. Our group of caring associates create financial security by helping individuals and businesses make a new start when a loss occurs. Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Marketplace Intelligence team as an intern for the summer. The position requires the person to: Research business questions using internal and external sources. Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative information to identify trends, themes, risks, and opportunities. Assist with primary research, which may include developing surveys or gathering feedback from agents and other stakeholders. Evaluate market, consumer, agency, and competitor information to develop evidence-based insights. Organize and synthesize research into clear findings and potential implications. Develop written and visual materials that communicate research findings effectively. Present research and recommendations to members of the Marketplace Intelligence team and other business partners. Collaborate with team members while also independently managing assigned research responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in marketing research, marketing, business, analytics, economics, statistics, communications, psychology, or a related field
Student should be currently enrolled and entering their junior or senior year in college
Interest in pursuing a career in marketing research, market intelligence, consumer insights, analytics, or a related field
Strong curiosity and willingness to investigate unfamiliar topics
Above-average communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to resolve complex issues
Organize and interpret data
Ability to handle multiple assignments

Detail-oriented Pay RateRate of pay starts at $18.00 per hour.
