About the opportunity: A boutique M&A advisory firm serving independent wealth management firms is hiring a senior deal professional to run the numbers side of its engagements. When an advisory firm owner sells, this person makes sure the financial story is accurate, well supported, and understood by everyone at the table. The firm is lean, fully remote, and invests heavily in AI tools that take manual work off the team’s plate. A typical week might includeBuilding a clean, supportable view of a seller’s true profitabilityPricing a firm and modeling how a buyer’s offer pays out over timeWalking a founder through what drives the value of their businessHandling buyer diligence requests and negotiating which adjustments standJuggling several active deals while coaching a junior teammateYou’ll fit if you have 5+ years in M&A, due diligence, valuation, investment banking, or corporate developmentDeal experience with RIAs or wealth managers, or extensive work with founder-owned private companiesStrong accounting fundamentals and a knack for explaining numbers to non-finance people A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldBonus points for: CPA or valuation credential, Big 4 deal advisory experience, sell-side work, and hands-on AI useCompensation: $175,000 to $225,000 base, plus a bonus tied to firm revenueLocation: Remote, anywhere in the US.
