Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an Experienced Associate Attorney for its Miami, Florida office to engage in complex defense litigation. This role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for professional growth through structured training and mentorship.
Duties:
Conduct pre- and post-suit investigations and case analysis. Draft and respond to discovery requests. Prepare and argue motions in court. Take and defend depositions. Engage in trial preparation and court appearances.
Requirements:
3-5 years of litigation experience in premises liability, motor vehicle, products liability, construction, and professional liability. Strong legal research and communication skills. Proactive mindset with project management skills. Current good standing with the Florida State Bar. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) required.
Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in Florida. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop and implement efficient legal strategies.
