Are you an experienced commercial low‑voltage electrician looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? This role offers the chance to support a newly constructed municipal facility under a long‑term operations and maintenance contract focused on maintaining seamless building performance. You'll work alongside a skilled team supporting critical electrical systems while contributing to a safe, efficient, and reliable environment. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong troubleshooting abilities who enjoy solving complex electrical challenges in commercial, industrial, or institutional settings. What’s the Job? Install, maintain, and repair low‑voltage electrical systems in accordance with building codes and manufacturer specifications. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to optimize performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and diagnose low‑voltage electrical system issues and implement effective corrective actions. Repair or replace defective electrical components, equipment, and wiring using hand and power tools. Conduct system testing, performance verification, and operational adjustments. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation, including parts usage and labor records. Collaborate with facility teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. Support equipment performance objectives within a mission‑critical municipal facility. Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements. Deliver excellent customer service while responding professionally to maintenance‑related concerns. What’s Needed? Minimum 5 years of practical experience in low‑voltage electrical work. Strong commercial, industrial, and/or institutional electrical experience. Proven troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, and repair experience with low‑voltage systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings. Experience working with preventive maintenance programs and electrical testing procedures. HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting experience is preferred. Journeyman Electrician License/Card preferred but not required. Valid low‑voltage electrical license or certification preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and respond to emergency or on‑call situations as needed. What’s In It for Me?
