Counter Person

Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers at the pharmacy counter with professionalism and care Process prescription drop-offs and pick-ups accurately and efficiently Handle cash register transactions, including payments and insurance co-pays Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining a clean, organized pharmacy floor Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate pharmacy staff Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with day-to-day operations Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required Prior retail, customer service, or pharmacy experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment Basic computer and cash handling skills Dependable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude Familiarity with pharmacy software or POS systems is a plus
