Food Pantry Assistant- Polk Shift 1

LSS of Northern California, a premier provider of services for individuals and families experiencing or at-risk of homelessness, is looking for a volunteer (to help in our biweekly food bank at our Mosaica supportive housing site. Every Thursday afternoon, we receive bundles of food to sort and pack for distribution to residents. Shift 1 runs from 11:30 am-1:30pm every Thursday. This shift includes unloading a pallet onto carts and setting up folding tables in preparation for distribution. Volunteers must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, bend and twist at the waist, push carts of produce, and assist with handing produce to residents.
