Litigation Associate Attorney Products Liability / Transportation

Duties: Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. Represent clients in aviation, transportation, and products liability matters involving personal injury, property damage, and commercial disputes. Advise clients on regulatory, operational, and risk-related aviation issues, including familiarity with FAA regulations. Draft and negotiate complex contracts for aviation-related transactions. Participate in client meetings, depositions, hearings, and mediations, with travel as required.

Requirements: 4+ years of civil litigation experience and an active Illinois bar license. Background in products liability, transportation, or insurance defense. Aviation or transportation experience, or a demonstrated interest, is a plus. Some coverage experience preferred but not required. Exceptional writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills. Interest in developing a specialized practice within a collaborative team environment. Ability to work independently and take ownership of their work. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications: Active Illinois bar license. Skills Strong litigation management skills. Excellent contract drafting and negotiation abilities. Proficient in legal research and analysis. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
