About the Company: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to lead and oversee production operations within our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for managing, coordinating, and successfully executing the production plan while driving productivity, efficiency, quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
About the Role: The Production Manager will provide leadership through department leads, ensuring that production targets are consistently achieved while maintaining a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is an experienced manufacturing leader with strong operational, organizational, problem-solving, and people-management skills who thrives in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities: Production & Operations Oversee multiple production and shipping operations and establish, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures. Execute production plans to ensure productivity and production targets are met or exceeded on time. Ensure planned efficiency and performance standards are achieved while maintaining cost-effective operations. Maintain control over manufacturing lead times, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and consistent customer service. Manage work-in-process transactions and ensure accurate production records. Collaborate with Production, Shipping, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure operational requirements are met. Collaborate with internal departments to optimize the flow of orders from preparation through shipment. Manage inventory and production planning activities. Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, develop, and manage the performance of direct reports. Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Partner effectively with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization. Identify measures and indicators of system performance and implement actions necessary to improve or correct performance. Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement Ensure safety procedures are implemented, maintained, and continuously improved. Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety guidelines and company requirements. Fulfill responsibilities outlined in the Accident Prevention Program as defined by company's Environmental, Health, & Safety team. Drive continuous improvement initiatives through effective change-management processes, best practices, and operational improvements. Maintain current knowledge of quality control practices, materials, technological advancements, and relevant statistical studies. Work closely with Quality and Engineering to support product development initiatives and ensure quality standards are maintained. Facilities & Equipment Coordinate with Operations, Quality, and Engineering on product development initiatives. Recommend and coordinate procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification. Evaluate equipment needs, including recommendations related to machine replacement and upgrades. Partner with appropriate departments to support reliable, efficient manufacturing operations.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.10+ years of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing, production, and/or shipping operations.5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Advanced knowledge of manufacturing systems and production planning, including ERP systems. Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, establish priorities, identify and resolve problems, meet deadlines, and operate within budget. Exceptional leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for improved system performance and take appropriate corrective or preventive action. Experience leading continuous improvement and change-management initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
What Success Looks Like: Success in this role means building a high-performing production organization that consistently delivers safe, efficient, cost-effective, high-quality production on schedule. The Production Manager will be expected to develop people, improve processes, solve problems proactively, and work cross-functionally to continuously improve operational performance and customer service. The Production Manager is expected to meet all company work schedule and attendance requirements and perform the physical and environmental demands associated with the position, as outlined in the company's working conditions and job requirements.
