Sales Director

One of my top food manufacturers based in CA is hiring a Retail Sales Leader to lead US sales over team (12-14) and channels including mass, club, grocery, and specialty. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving profitable growth across retail business nationally, developing key customer partnerships, and building a scalable commercial strategy for the next stage of the company’s growth. The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with deep experience in the food industry and US retail channels, with a strong track record of growing branded and non-branded food businesses, developing major retail accounts, leading high-performing sales organizations, and translating consumer and market trends into commercial growth. This leader will serve as a strategic partner to the executive team and will play a critical role in shaping our broader commercial strategy, customer portfolio, go-to-market approach, and long-term growth. Ideal candidate based in Southern CA (role not based remotely). Looking local only for now (but if you are relocatable to CA down the road, open to reviewing your background).Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.15+ years of progressive sales experience, with significant leadership responsibility in the food industry.
