Key responsibilities:
Adhere to underwriting guidelines to accept, reject, or mitigate risks for insurance applications
Review and analyze risk characteristics for various fuel distribution classes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations
Collaborate with the underwriting team and cultivate relationships with assigned producers to achieve production goals
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum 5 years of commercial P&C underwriting or related insurance experience required
Experience underwriting commercial E&S policies required
Experience underwriting excess petroleum policies strongly preferred
Experience working for an MGA preferred
