Job Details: We are looking for an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience to join the team in New Orleans. This position will focus on a variety of cases including general litigation matters, maritime law, & transportation law. This position offers meaningful responsibility, direct involvement in case strategy, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced litigators representing insurers, vessel owners, marine and transportation companies, and other commercial clients.

Responsibilities: Manage litigation matters through discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other substantive legal work Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings and court proceedings Assist with maritime, transportation, insurance, and commercial disputes Communicate directly with clients and contribute to case strategy Work closely with partners while developing increasing independence and responsibility

Qualifications: Louisiana Bar admission and good standing (required) 3+ years of litigation experience Strong analytical, research, and communication skills (both written and verbal) Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
