Trial Attorney

Location: Remote, with the ability to report to the firm’s Charleston, SC office as needed for client and team meetings

Hours: 20–30 hours per week

Start Date: October 2026

Duration: 6–12 months

Pay Rate: $75/hour

Responsibilities: The attorney will be responsible for a variety of litigation-related assignments, including: Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation filings Conducting legal research and analysis Preparing and responding to written discovery Reviewing and analyzing documents and case materials Preparing for and taking or defending depositions Assisting with hearings, mediations, and case strategy Supporting attorneys with trial preparation and, as appropriate, at trial Managing assignments independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work product

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: Active South Carolina bar license in good standing — required Litigation experience, preferably involving insurance coverage disputes and/or complex personal injury matters Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments efficiently Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with experienced litigators and the broader legal team Candidates located in or near Charleston, SC are preferred Why Consider This Opportunity?
