Salary: $140,000 - $175,000 per year A bit about us: Our client is a national, full-service business law firm with offices across the country and deep roots on the East Coast. It represents middle-market companies, closely held businesses, and entrepreneurs, and it pairs big-firm capability with a practical, client-first approach. The Firm’s Labor & Employment group handles both advisory and contested matters for employers. It’s adding a mid-level associate to support continued growth in its East Coast offices.

Job Details Responsibilities: Counsel employers on federal and state employment law, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, leave, and accommodation issues Draft handbooks, policies, employment agreements, and separation agreements Handle employment litigation in state and federal court, including pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and mediation Respond to and defend charges before the EEOC and state agencies Assist with workplace investigations and training Qualifications: JD and active bar admission in at least one of these states PA, NJ, VA, MD, or DC (or eligibility in the target market) About 3–5 years of labor and employment experience, ideally including both counseling and litigation Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Ability to manage matters independently and communicate directly with clients Interested in hearing more?
