Senior MIG Welder / Metal Fabricator – Manufacturing

Webco Manufacturing is seeking a Senior MIG Welder/Fabricator to produce high-quality custom sheet metal components in our Alto, GA facility. In this role, you will interpret blueprints, set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment, fit and assemble parts, and perform quality checks to meet precise specifications. You will collaborate with engineering and production teams, follow strict safety and quality standards, and help train junior team members while supporting continuous improvement on the shop floor. Perform advanced MIG welding on sheet metal and fabricated components to meet specifications Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to plan welding and fabrication tasks Set up, operate, and maintain welding and fabrication equipment and tools Fit, assemble, grind, and finish parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality Inspect welds and fabricated parts, making adjustments to meet quality standards Follow all safety procedures and support a clean, organized work area Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve fabrication issues Assist in training and mentoring junior welders and fabricators Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives on the shop floor Document work completed and report issues to supervisors as needed MIG welding Blueprint reading Metal fabrication Weld inspection and quality control Fixture and jig setup Grinding and finishing Use of fabrication tools and equipment Measurement and precision layout Safety procedures in manufacturing Basic mechanical aptitude Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k AWS welding certification (preferred) OSHA safety training (preferred) Vocational or technical training in welding/fabrication (preferred)
