Key responsibilities:
Design and implement FPGA-based networking pipelines, including Ethernet MAC/PHY integration and packet switching architectures
Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to create on-board networking and data transport solutions for space applications
Develop and maintain simulation testbenches to ensure functional correctness and performance of networking firmware modulesRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
9+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or 7+ years with a master's degree
Hands-on experience with FPGA-based networking design, including Ethernet (IEEE 802.3) and packet-switched architectures
Experience with RTL design and coding using VHDL and/or Verilog
Thorough understanding of FPGA design methodology, including timing closure techniques and verification processes
