Mortgage Underwriting Team Lead

Key responsibilities: Underwrite mortgage loan files in compliance with guidelines and credit union policies Monitor the mortgage pipeline to ensure timely processing and balanced workloads Provide coaching and training to underwriting staff while implementing process improvements

Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred Minimum of five years of experience in mortgage underwriting at a financial institution At least three years of leadership or supervisory experience in a related field Knowledge of secondary market guidelines and regulatory requirements Experience with technology and automation tools in the mortgage industry preferred
