Location: This is an in-office role based in either our Austin or Houston office.
Note:
For Austin candidates, HOA attorney experience is required. For Houston candidates, real estate litigation experience is required. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Texas.

Job Description:
Represent clients in HOA, property owners association, real estate, and litigation matters
Serve as a trusted legal advisor to assigned clients
Draft, review, and amend governing documents, legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, opinions, and related legal documents
Advise clients on compliance, governance, disputes, collections, and real estate‑related legal issues
Handle real estate litigation matters, including pleadings, discovery, hearings, negotiations, and case strategy
Prepare and pursue judicial foreclosures when applicable
Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions, court briefing, and client guidance
Attend client board meetings, member meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings as needed
Supervise and work closely with legal assistants and support staff
Manage deadlines, client expectations, billing requirements, and multiple active matters
Qualifications: Active Texas law license required
Austin candidates must have HOA attorney experience
Houston candidates must have real estate litigation experience
1+ year of relevant attorney experience preferred
Experience with court appearances, litigation, client communication, legal drafting, and case management preferred
Strong legal writing, research, organization, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Professional, approachable, client‑service mindset
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management tools
Ability to work full‑time in office
