About the Role: The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff for its Advisory and Liaison Team in Kosovo. The successful candidate will be responsible for operationalizing the organization's political and strategic guidance, as well as integrating them into capacity-building efforts. This role involves supporting the management of the team, particularly in the areas of budget administration, force generation, and personnel issues, and ensuring the coherent and coordinated delivery of capacity-building efforts in line with policy. The Chief of Staff will also be tasked with maintaining dialogue, negotiating, and building cooperative efforts with local and international stakeholders to align and reinforce the organization's impact and credibility in Kosovo. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position must possess a university degree in international relations or a related field, with at least 10 years' experience in international affairs and crisis management, including a minimum of 5 years in team management and coordination. The role requires sound judgment, discretion, and diplomacy in dealing with complex political and sensitive staff issues, as well as experience in planning, implementing, and assessing international support efforts. The ideal candidate will have a very good understanding of military structures, experience in operational theaters or post-conflict areas, and the ability to work with high-level groups.
