Qualifications:
To be appointed as a Child Neurology Residency Program Director, a candidate must meet a rigorous set of criteria established by accrediting bodies and possess the leadership qualities necessary to manage a complex graduate medical education program. The following is a consolidated list of these requirements. Medical Degree: Must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School. Postgraduate Training: Successful completion of a Child Neurology fellowship program is required. Specialty Certification: Must be certified in Child Neurology by theAmerican Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)or theAmerican Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry .Medical Licensure: Must have or be eligible to obtain a New Jersey Medical License. GME Experience: Requires a minimum ofthreeyears of documented educational and/or administrative experience in an accredited graduate medical education (GME) program.

Internal Equity : Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty. Budget and Grant Funding : Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
