Laborer - Shade Tree Department

Maintenance and landscaping of Borough of Paramus properties. Mowing, edging, shrub trimming and general clean up. Snow shoveling and salt on Borough of Paramus properties. Sweeping streets, loading, lifting and moving supplies. Grass cutting, watering lawns, flowers, vegetable beds, pruning, spraying and removing trees and shrubs. Assists tree climbers: hoist tools and equipment, lowers branches, saws and chops branches. Variety of manual work. Digs trenches and does manual grading Collects rubbish and other refuse Loads/unloads trucks Shovels snow Shovels gravel and sand, mixes cement and mortar, places forms used in concrete work and cold patching. Occasionally drives trucks in accordance with license requirements.
