Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a Labor and Employment Litigation Associate in San Jose, CA. The firm provides high-quality legal services to public agencies, private entities, and individuals throughout California. Duties:
Handle employment litigation, including wage and hour class actions and PAGA representative actions.
Manage single-plaintiff employment matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims.
Oversee all phases of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial.
Requirements:
4-10 years of experience in labor and employment litigation.
Strong understanding of the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), Title VII, wage and hour laws, PAGA, and other applicable labor and employment laws and regulations.
Admission to the State Bar of California.
Strong work ethic, self-starter mentality, and team-oriented mindset.
Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Admission to the State Bar of California.
Skills Ability to manage all phases of litigation effectively.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
