The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial automation, control systems implementation, and managing automation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks at Integrators, OEM's and Tier Suppliers. 50% Automotive and 50% Non- Automotive
- Perform system upgrades and modifications to existing automation systems
- Commission new control systems and equipment
- Work with customers to define project scope and requirements
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets
- Train customer personnel on system operation and maintenance
- Travel to customer sites across North America
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in industrial automation and controls
- Proficient in PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens and or others)
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively
- Desired Qualification (not required)
- Ignition / SCADA experience Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and handle equipment up to 50 pounds
- Capable of standing, bending, and working in various positions for extended periods
- Comfortable working in manufacturing environments
- Valid passport for occasional international travel
