Legal Assistant

I'm currently working with a leading law firm seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced labor and employment practice.

Managing calendars, deadlines and case-related activities Coordinating filings with courts and administrative agencies Handling electronic filing and ensuring compliance with applicable court rules Preparing and finalizing legal documents, correspondence and filings Creating and maintaining litigation matters and document files Preparing Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities Managing documents through legal document management systems Coordinating transcription, printing and document assembly Maintaining attorney and client contact information Assisting with billing and pre-bill review as needed

Strong knowledge of court rules and ECF procedures Experience supporting multiple attorneys and managing competing priorities Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate attorney needs Advanced experience with Best Authority, MS Office, Outlook and Adobe Experience with NetDocuments or similar document management systems Strong understanding of legal terminology and legal document preparation The position offers $48-$60/hour, depending on experience and qualifications, along with eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
