CABLE DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR

Location: St. Louis, MO Area Schedule: Full-Time Position Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $55,000 to $65,000 AnnuallyPOSITION SUMMARYCPAY Staffing & Recruiting is seeking an experienced Cable Department Supervisor for a full-time opportunity with an established manufacturing company in the St. Louis area. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to oversee daily production operations, manage employees, coordinate schedules, and ensure quality and production goals are consistently achieved. This position requires a hands-on leader who is organized, results-driven, and committed to maintaining an efficient, productive, and quality-focused manufacturing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and direct daily production activities within the cable department. Lead, motivate, and manage production employees to meet departmental objectives. Assign daily work responsibilities and coordinate staffing to ensure production schedules are met. Develop, maintain, and update production schedules to reflect operational priorities. Monitor workflow, productivity, and production output to ensure established targets are achieved. Ensure quality standards, customer requirements, and delivery commitments are consistently met. Identify opportunities to improve production processes, workflow, and overall efficiency. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and productivity. Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding production schedules, priorities, and challenges. Maintain an organized, safe, and productive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS: Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required. Demonstrated experience managing multiple employees within a production department. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize workloads, delegate responsibilities, and manage competing production demands. Experience coordinating production schedules and monitoring manufacturing performance. Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and production efficiencies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and ERP systems. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and hold team members accountable for results. Cable manufacturing or related production experience preferred. COMPENSATION

Annual Salary: $55,000 to $65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
