Business Development Manager

We are working with a US leader in plastics design, extrusion, and fabrication. They are looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in the packaging manufacturing industry to grow new business and manage key accounts. Before applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.5+ years of business to business sales or business development experience preferred; will consider less experienced candidates with the right drive and personality Experience in pharmaceutical, retail/distribution, or related packaging/engineered solutions markets a plus Engineering or technical background a plus, especially for candidates with strong customer facing experience Comfortable balancing new business development with managing and growing existing accounts Self motivated and able to work independently in a remote, low oversight environment Strong follow up and xevrcyc prospecting skills, with the ability to prioritize the highest value opportunities Willingness to travel approximately 20 to 25%, including customer visits and periodic trips to a company facility in the Midwest Remote role (must reside in the Eastern US, ideally in the Southeast or Mid Atlantic/Northeast region)
