Credit Officer VP

Job Description: Bank in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking a Credit Officer at the VP level! Responsibiliites: Prepare accurate and timely credit reports in accordance with regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, risk management standards, and internal controls. Prepare supporting documentation and reports for internal and external audits, including regulatory examinations by Client (FRB) and Department of Financial Services (Client). Monitor and analyze the credit portfolio, identifying key trends, risks, and areas requiring attention. Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and quality of credit data and related reporting. Conduct sector, industry, and portfolio analysis in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Identify, assess, manage, and escalate credit and operational risks in a timely manner. Support additional credit risk, portfolio management, and reporting requirements as the business and portfolio grow.
