Emergency Room Travel Registered Nurse

Advantis Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced ER Travel Nurse to deliver high-quality emergency care at leading hospitals nationwide. In this role, you will assess and triage patients, administer medications, perform critical interventions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in fast-paced ER settings. Provide emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in ER settings nationwide Perform rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization of critically ill or injured patients Administer medications, IV therapies, wound care, and other ordered treatments Monitor vital signs, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to changes in patient status Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EHR systems Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions Adapt quickly to new hospital environments, workflows, and equipment Communicate regularly with Advantis Medical Staffing for assignment support and compliance needs Emergency patient assessment Triage protocols IV insertion and medication administration Cardiac monitoring and EKG interpretation Wound care and suturing assistance Ventilator and oxygen therapy management Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Critical care and trauma stabilization Infection control practices Patient and family communication Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active RN license in practicing state BLS certification ACLS certification PALS certification (preferred) TNCC or equivalent trauma certification (preferred) Minimum 1 year recent ER experience Vaccination and health compliance documentation
