We supply advanced materials, ferrites and magnetic materials, dielectrics, ceramic bandpass filters, coaxial resonators, and coaxial inductors. In this role, you will produce custom ceramic powders through a variety of powder processing tasks. Duties include keeping accurate and up-to-date batch records, performing in-process tests, and reading and following written instructions and safety protocols.
Work schedule:
Multiple shifts available: 6:00 am 2:30 pm Monday-Friday; 2:00 pm 10:30 pm Monday-Friday; 10:00 pm 6:30 am Sunday-Thursday. Training will be on 1st shift for 2-3 months. Primary job responsibilities: Loading dry raw material powders into blending tanks and milling vessels to create homogenous mixtures and reduce particle size Loading drying ovens and loading the dry mixtures into ceramic saggers for thermal processing. Spray drying ceramic slurry mixtures Cleaning all processing equipment
Requirements include:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to regularly lift 50-60 lbs. Able to work in dusty environments at times, will need to use a respirator Ability to work in wet processing conditions Maintain accurate records electronically and written Preferred competencies: Strong math and computer skills Mechanical aptitude Ability to interpret process instructions
