Role Summary:
EMERES is seeking an experienced public safety technology professional to serve as a Senior Public Safety Solutions Consultant focused on pre-sales demonstrations, customer engagement, and solution positioning. This role is designed for experienced professionals from the public safety software industry, particularly individuals with hands-on experience supporting Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Mobile CAD, RMS, NG911, emergency communications, or other mission-critical public safety technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading product demonstrations ranging from executive overviews to multi-day scripted evaluations supporting formal procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead customer-facing demonstrations. Conduct short-form and multi-day scripted evaluations. Partner with sales, product, and operations team members throughout the sales cycle. Support discovery workshops, procurement demonstrations, conferences, and customer meetings. Configure and maintain demonstration environments and provide market feedback. Travel to industry events and customer sites (up to 50% travel).
Required Experience:
5+ years of experience in public safety technology, CAD, RMS, NG911, emergency communications, or related mission-critical software environments, with demonstrated expertise in customer-facing technology demonstrations and solution consulting. Demonstrated customer-facing demonstration experience. Experience supporting formal procurement evaluations. Deep understanding of PSAP operations, CAD workflows, reporting, mobile workflows, administration, and public safety operations. Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working for a public safety software vendor. Enterprise software sales support experience. B2B software sales, solutions consulting, sales engineering, or presales experience Experience supporting RFP demonstrations and SaaS-based public safety solutions.
