The pediatric population in San Antonio is growing and there is great demand for these services within the community. This is an opportunity to work alongside the current board-certified pediatric developmental pediatrician with more than 25 years of experience in the field.
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a doctorate in psychology, and one year of supervised postdoctoral experience in clinical child psychology; or an equivalent combination of education and experience treating child mental health disorders. Comprehensive knowledge of psychological testing and evaluation techniques in children. Previous participation in pediatric interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary teams. Skilled at communicating effectively with parents of children who have developmental disabilities. Experience with empirically supported therapies to treat a range of child mental health disorders (e.g., anxiety disorder) and neurobehavioral disorders (e.g., autism spectrum disorder, pediatric feeding disorder).
