As a Project Manager, you'll lead commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through turnover, taking full ownership of project strategy, financial performance, client relationships, and successful execution. This is not a role where you'll be buried in paperwork or managing a single long-duration project for years at a time. Instead, you'll oversee a diverse portfolio of fast-paced interior construction projects, giving you the opportunity to manage multiple clients, work with a variety of project teams, and see the direct impact of your work on a regular basis. Projects typically range from$500K to $5M+and include:
Corporate Office Interiors
Workplace Renovations
Tenant Fit-Outs
Corporate Headquarters
Medical & Healthcare Facilities
Government & Federal Interiors
Retail & Hospitality Renovations
Occupied Space Renovations
Capital Improvement Projects With dedicated support from estimating, accounting, and operational leadership teams, you'll be empowered to focus on what great Project Managers do best: driving projects, leading teams, managing clients, and delivering successful outcomes.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
As Project Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for both clients and project teams while maintaining complete ownership of project performance. Responsibilities include:
Managing multiple commercial interior construction projects simultaneously from award through closeout.
Developing, managing, and forecasting project budgets and overall financial performance.
Building and maintaining detailed project schedules and milestone plans.
Leading buyout, subcontractor procurement, and contract administration activities.
Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
Working closely with Superintendents to ensure successful field execution.
Coordinating architects, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors throughout construction.
Identifying project risks early and developing proactive solutions.
Leading client meetings and maintaining strong relationships throughout project delivery.
Monitoring project profitability and ensuring projects meet both client and company expectations.
Driving successful project turnover and closeout. What Makes This Opportunity Different?

What You'll Need to Succeed
6+ years of experience with a Commercial General Contractor.
Experience managing commercial interior construction projects valued between $500K and $5M+.
Strong background in office interiors, tenant fit-outs, healthcare, government, retail, or similar commercial projects.
Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, contracts, and project financials.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
Experience working closely with Superintendents and field personnel to ensure successful project outcomes.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Ability to travel throughout Washington DC and Northern Virginia project locations.
What's In It For You?
Base Salary: $120,000 - $165,000
Sign-On Bonus:
$10,000 - $25,000
Annual Performance Bonus up to 15%
