Job Details
Job Duties:
Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
Conduct written discovery and prepare disclosures
Take and defend depositions
Draft and argue substantive motions
Appear in state and federal courts
Assist with trial strategy, witness preparation, and trial execution
Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy and developments
Collaborate with attorneys on complex defense matters involving public entities and civil rights claims
Job Requirements:
JD from an accredited law school and active Arizona Bar license in good standing
3-10+ years of litigation experience, preferably in defense litigation or insurance defense
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience handling depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment
Self‑starter mentality with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Prior experience with Clio is strongly preferred
Demonstrated academic achievement and commitment to litigation excellence
Candidates should be prepared to submit transcripts and writing samples for consideration.
