Hatchery Production Technician

Job Duties: Receive, prepare, sort, and set eggs for optimal incubation quality. Load/unload egg shipments and supplies with power or pallet jacks. Operate egg-handling equipment such as the Automatic Rack Transfer machine. Clean and sanitize equipment and hatchery areas to meet quality standards. Grade chicks, operate basket stackers, and prepare them for delivery. Maintain accurate inventory and ensure eggs are rotated properly. Perform in-ovo injection transfers with care to minimize breakage. Use spray vaccination and cleaning systems to support hatchery health. Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment. Comfortable operating machinery and material handling equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. Ability to follow sanitation and biosecurity procedures. Reliable attendance and teamwork mindset.

Requirements: Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply. High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments. Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required. Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery. Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
