Baptist Health is currently seeking a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation team at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, FL. This is a PRN opportunity with flexible day shift hours, ideal for professionals looking to make a meaningful impact on patients recovering from cardiac-related illnesses while enjoying schedule flexibility. As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, your day centers on assessing patients’ fitness levels, developing tailored exercise prescriptions, and monitoring their responses during supervised sessions. You’ll collaborate with physicians and care teams, interpret diagnostic data, and guide patients toward safer movement, improved endurance, and long-term cardiovascular health. As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, you will: Provide treatment to Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab patients across Phases I–IIIConduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to guide individualized treatment plans Design and implement exercise prescriptions and facilitate progression based on patient needs Monitor patients during exercise sessions, including EKG monitoring and interpretation Educate patients and families on risk factor management, heart-healthy lifestyles, and long-term wellness Complete all required documentation, billing, and coordinate communication with physicians Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Pulmonary Rehab, Experience:3-5 Years Pulmonary Rehabilitation Experience 3-5 Years Clinical Cardiac Experience If you are a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) passionate about cardiac rehab, exercise prescription, and patient education, we encourage you to apply today.
