Senior Airworthiness Engineer

Key responsibilities: Execute the certification strategy and technical approach for major programs or product lines Lead certification documentation and compliance activities for complex technical areas, including structures and avionics Interface directly with regulatory representatives and manage certification program schedules to ensure timely approvalsRequired qualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field 6-9 years of aerospace certification experience with direct interface to airworthiness or certification authorities Hands-on experience in military airworthiness or civil certification programs from development through closure Working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 21, 23, 25, and military airworthiness standards (MIL-SPECs, MIL-STDs) U.S. citizenship with an active Secret clearance or a clear path to obtaining one
