Audit Associate Opportunity
Location: Greater Columbus area, OH (hybrid)
Compensation: $55,000 - $80,000, depending on experience
About the Opportunity: A well-established regional CPA and advisory firm in the Greater Columbus area is looking for an Audit Associate to join its assurance practice. You'll work on audits, reviews, and compilations for a variety of clients, learn from experienced professionals, and build a strong foundation with a clear path to Audit Senior.
What You'll Do:
  • Perform audit procedures and testing on engagements for private companies and nonprofits
  • Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation
  • Assist with financial statement preparation and disclosures
  • Interact with client personnel to gather information
  • Identify issues and communicate them to seniors and managers
  • Learn audit software and firm methodology
  • What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting 0-2 years of audit experience in public accounting (internships count)CPA-eligible or actively pursuing the CPA (preferred)
  • Solid Excel and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Clear communication and a team-first attitude
