Dyno Technician

Our client, is seeking a Dyno Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a safety-first mindset, and the drive to deliver accurate, high-quality test results-while working hands-on in a fast-paced technical environment.Job Title: Dyno TechnicianLocation: Santa Clarita, CaliforniaPay Range: $25What's the Job?Operate engine dynamometers and related test equipment to support development and validation testing. Perform engine and powertrain installation, removal, test setup, and test-cell changeovers. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation, sensors, fixtures, and test equipment to ensure reliable operation. Execute test procedures, monitor test operations, and ensure data accuracy and test quality. Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on Dyno and test-cell equipment to minimize downtime.What's Needed?Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on automotive or powertrain experience. Experience with dynamometers, automotive testing, instrumentation, or data acquisition systems preferred. Automotive Technology coursework, technical certificate, trade school training, or equivalent experience preferred. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, team-oriented technical environment. Passion for high-performance engines, racing, and automotive technology is highly desirable.What's in it for me?Work directly on engine and powertrain development, validation, and testing activities.
