Mainline Service Technician Best Chevrolet | Kenner, LABest Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Mainline Service Technician to join our growing Service Department. We are seeking a motivated, dependable technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and services on Chevrolet vehicles and other makes/models
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical concerns
  • Perform inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs
  • Complete repairs efficiently and accurately according to manufacturer specifications
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Accurately document all work performed
  • Follow dealership and manufacturer safety procedures
  • Perform other duties as instructed by management
Qualifications:
  • Previous automotive technician experience required
  • Chevrolet or GM experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • Ability to use automotive diagnostic equipment and repair information systems
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a teamASE certifications are a plus
