The Role:
As a Project Manager, you'll be the client's single point of accountability from preconstruction through closeout. You'll lead projects with transparency, protect the budget and schedule, and make sure every client feels informed and cared for at every step.
What You'll Do:
- Lead discovery conversations to understand each client's vision, goals, budget, and timeline
- Develop accurate, data-driven budgets and clear cost breakdowns that support informed scope decisions
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and owners during preconstruction to identify risks early and keep projects on track
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to deliver quality work on schedule and on budget
- Provide consistent, proactive updates to clients, including cost tracking, schedule progress, and issue resolution
- Oversee procurement, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
- Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and jobsite professionalism
- Drive smooth closeouts, including punch lists, warranty coordination, and move-in readiness
- Build lasting client relationships that extend well beyond project completion
- What You Bring 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction
- Strong skills in budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
- Experience working closely with design teams and subcontractors
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver honest updates, including tough news
- A natural sense of ownership and follow-through
- Proficiency with [Procore / MS Project / Bluebeam / other tools]Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Healthcare or dental office construction experience is a plus
