Mid-Atlantic News Bureau Chief — Remote

The New York Times Company is seeking an experienced journalist to helm the Mid-Atlantic Region as its bureau chief. You will understand issues across DC, DE, MD, PA, VA, WV, OH and KY, and craft coverage that informs readers with clear, vivid writing. You will write quickly and accurately on deadline, lead editors and reporters in the region, and cultivate a deep network of sources to drive reporting across formats. The role may be based in Washington, D.C. in-office or remote within the region.
