Senior Civil Engineer - Substation

Location: Houston, TX(position is open multiple locations : Overland Park, KS - Ann Arbor, MI - Houston, TX - Dallas, TX - College Station, TX - Denver, CO - Phoenix, AZ - Orlando, FL - Cary, NC - Tualatin, OR )

Required Skills: 11+ years of experience in civil engineering design, drafting, or engineering technician rolesAssociate degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering Design Technology, or a related fieldStrong hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3DExperience creating and reviewing civil/site development designs and construction drawingsKnowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion control, roadways, underground utilities, and site layoutsExperience with quantity takeoffs, engineering calculations, estimates, and technical documentationAbility to interpret and apply engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design requirementsStrong experience with drawing production, quality review, and document/drawing controlAbility to work on complex civil design assignments with limited supervisionExperience coordinating with engineering/design teams and other disciplinesAbility to provide technical guidance, training, and mentoring to junior team membersStrong attention to detail with good problem-solving and communication skillsExperience supporting field activities and construction-related design requirementsAbility to manage work according to project schedules, budgets, and quality requirements
