Swagger Marketing is looking for a connected, motivated business development professional to help bring new opportunities to our agency. We're a full-service creative agency with an in-house production studio in Lombard. We work with some of the world's largest brands, helping them bring ideas to life through strategy, design, video, photography, 3D and CGI, social content, websites, and integrated campaigns. We have an exceptional team, a strong client roster, and the capabilities to take on ambitious work. Now we're looking for someone who can open doors, build relationships, and help introduce Swagger to more brands that need a creative partner.
The opportunity:
This role is for a self-starter with an established network and a book of business they can bring to the table. You know how to find the right people, start meaningful conversations, and turn relationships into opportunities. You'll have the full support of our creative and production teams throughout the sales process. We invest in winning work: we develop custom presentations, bring forward ideas, and put in the effort to show prospective clients what's possible. Once a project is awarded, our creative and production teams manage the work. Your focus is on building relationships, creating opportunities, and growing the business. We're open to discussing a fractional or part-time arrangement with the right person.
What you'll do:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with brands that fit Swagger's capabilities.
- Bring an existing network of contacts and actively develop new relationships.
- Lead outreach, introductory conversations, and business development meetings.
- Invite prospective clients to our Lombard studio to meet the team and see our capabilities firsthand.
- Work with Swagger's leadership and creative team to develop tailored presentations, ideas, and proposals.
- Manage your pipeline and follow opportunities through to close.
- Represent Swagger with confidence and help build long-term client relationships.
- What you bring
- An established book of business and relationships with decision-makers who could benefit from Swagger's services.
- Experience selling creative, marketing, production, or other agency services.
- A track record of generating and closing new business.
- The drive to work independently, take initiative, and create momentum.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to get to our Lombard office easily for meetings, studio tours, and collaboration with the team.
- What you'll have behind you
- You won't be selling an idea of what Swagger could become. You'll be introducing clients to an established agency with a proven track record, a talented in-house team, and a portfolio of work for major brands.
- You'll have access to our studio, website, client work, sales materials, leadership, and creative team. When an opportunity calls for it, we'll build a custom presentation that speaks directly to the client's needs.
- If you have the relationships, ambition, and confidence to help take Swagger to the next level, we'd love to meet you.
